FINALLY... I have posted pictures.

I know looks can be deceiving but I actually did post pictures. I decided that I am going to do it backwards though. I have put pics up on my first 2 blogs. They are so cute, and I just love blogging! I also found a place where you can go and pay a small fee and you send them your blog and they will print it once a year and make it into a book. I AM SO EXCITED! Well, we have been so busy every night this week because we had our renters move out of our condo. Monday and Tuesday night were spent getting it ready for the new renters as they were moving in. Luckily we are done for 18months.
I just have to say that I LOVE Bostyn so much! She seriously gets cuter and cuter everyday. I love the little things she does everyday that make all of the work worth it. Every morning I wake up to her sweet voice int he monitor saying, "Oh mama, oh mama" until I come to her rescue. Then, once I get her out of her crib she gives me the biggest hug and kiss and tells me that she missed me "yast night". This is of course after she has fallen asleep in Brad and I's bed the night before. She will get out of the bath, and then she wants to me sing "Rock-e-sye" to her and then she has to "Yay down mommys bed". Oh I just love this little girl!
I forgot to tell the cutest story about her. A couple of weekends ago, she was sitting on my bed watching TV while I cleaned. We were talking about the commercials coming on and I was explaining colors and different toys and asking her if she wanted them. Now, she is spoiled but this proves all the spoiling isnt done by Brad and I. A commercial came on the TV for the Dora head doll. This is the one that is like the Barbie where you can do her hair and her make-up. She got up and started jumping on the bed and pointing to the TV. Then she said, "Mom, Ayee (Arlee) buy me. Needless, to say Bostyn was the proud owner of a Dora head doll the next day and she loves it! I guess she knows between Arlee and Grandma she will get what she wants.
Go take a look at my pics and ENJOY!

Tag, I'm it...

Oh Stasha, Stasha. My cousin tagged me a few weeks ago and I decided I better get to it.
A. Rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, player tags 5 people and posts their names. Then go to their blog and leave a comment to let them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 years ago: I was a junior in high school and didnt realize how good I had it.
5 things on my to do list: unpack from my trip up to see Arlee, play with Bostyn, put pics on this dang website, decide what to have for dinner, and put gas in the car.
Snacks I enjoy: Oreos, Chocolate molten cake from Chilis, and fruit, veggies
What if I were suddenly a billionaire: Oh I would go SHOPPING! :) JK of course I would make sure everyone in my family was set and I would invest money and help those in need.
3 bad habits: taking things for granted, getting too caught up in life, and biting my nails
5 jobs I have had: Movie theater, Waitress, mortgage representative, Stock Broker, and MOMMY!
5 places I have lived: Wendover, Ephraim, Orem, Herriman, West Jordan, South Jordan
5 things people don't know about me: I've never broken a bone in my body, I LOVE selling things on Ebay, I get a thrill out of bargain shopping, and I have the BEST husband in the world! :)
I am not going to tag anyone, but if you do it let me know I would love to read your responses.

Travel, Travel, Travel

Oh my! We have been all around UT and NV this past few weeks. I find it funny that I check many peoples blogs on a daily basis and I am let down if I dont see a new post every day. Then here I am posting once a month. I need to do better. Anyway, 2 weekends ago we went down to St.George. I had some work that I had to down there on Monday. It was such a fun roadtrip with Brad and Bostyn and we had a great time just lounging around and being with each other. Bostyn had a great time swimming and her and Brad got some quality time in together. Then, last weekend we headed down to Vegas for Paytons (my nephew) birthday. it was so nice to see my older sister and the kids. Drew was able to come with us. They both LOVE to see their cousins and played so hard the whole time. Bostyn was a trooper and didnt get a nap both days. This is good, because i am normally crazy about her naps. The pool at the hotel was being remodeled so they were all let down. Oh well, we still had fun! We visited the M&M factory and everyone got their favorite Coke flavor at the Coke factory. Both Saige and Payton wanted to come home with us but my mom cant handle it so they had to stay there for a few more weeks. Now, today I am leaving to go to San Francisco to visit my sister and hopefully see my newest niece. Arlee moved to San Francisco a few weeks ago and I miss her so much. I did get to see her last weekend in Vegas but we are really missing the shopping aspect of our relationship. I am so excited for a girls weekend. I miss her so much and cant wait for her to move back home. But it is a good excuse to go out of town, right? I am crying as I type this, b/c I have such a hard time leaving Bostyn. I know that it is good for her to have alone time with brad but still it is hard. I have only left her 2 other times and it only gets harder. Well, that is about it for now! I am sure that I will have lots of fun stories when I get back. Oh one more thing.... my parents are moving into their new house. It is so NICE!!! Congrats mom and dad, you guys deserve it! LOVE YA!

FOREVER!!!

Sorry it has been so long! And I still dont have any pics up. My dad finally got all of my pics put on a flash drive and lots of people have offered help so i will get some up here soon! Alot has happened since I last blogged! Arlee moved to San Francisco for work and will be gone for 6 weeks. It has been so sad not having her there. Bostyn really misses her and will oftne say, "Mom, where Awyee" Also, this weekend Brad and I had all of his buddies over to our house for hte super bowl party. It was fun and Brad helped me clean the hosue SPOTLESS on Saturday. We are going down to Las Vegas on teh 15th for Paytons birthday and I am so excited to see them. I really need to blog more b/c I feel liek I have so much to catch up on but I cant remember it right now. Oh quickly, Bostyn and the potty training is not going so great. She is smart and realizes that why take time away from playing when she can jsut go in her pull-ups. Brad took her shopping for new underwear so hopefully that will work.

it was a potty training weekend

It all started Friday night. Brad and I went to a work dinner and Arlee kept Bostyn. When we got home she told us that Bostyn had gone to the bathroom several times in the potty and that she would just put her treat on the potty. Well, the next day it worked great until she was sick of the treats. I am thinking that the sticker chart will probably work alot better.
Saturday Brad along wtih the help of my dad finished 1 of 2 window seats. They look great and i am so excited to finally ahve a place for all of our media equipment. I will put pics up when it is all done. I know ha ha, but I will. Also, while me dad was here I tried to download all of the birthday pics and Hawaii pics but I couldnt get it worked out so the pics are still pending. I am getting better at the blogging and soon my page is going to be all jazzed up.
I am really looking forward to the long weekend. I am hoping for some realxing time... who knows maybe we will even head down to Southern Utah. Bostyn would just love Zions. I hope all is well with everyone!

day off!

Yesterday I stayed home with Bostyn and it was such a fun day! I got so much done around the house and Bostyn and I played with every toy she owns. She is SO MUCH FUN!!! She decided that playing tag would be a good idea. At first I had no idea what she wanted me to do. She would just reach her hand in my direction and say, "you it!" I just laughed and kept playing with her doll house. Then, she said, "mom get me", and I finally caught on. I cleaned out a whole room in the basement and DI is going to be getting a loadful from the McDaniel household. I have listed a ton of stuff on Ebay, and the saying, one mans trash is another mans treasure is so true. I cant believe how much people are willing to pay for stuff i was just going to throw away. I also got to watch Cash last night and he and Bostyn had so much fun playing together. We need to get them together more. It was a bit overwhelming b/c I wanted to help Bridger and Brinley out so they could have sometime alone, but I had already offered to help my friend next door and take her son to his soccer game downtown. The best part was, Brad had already made plans to go and help our renters in the condo with the washer and dryer. With Arlees help, 6 kids and a minivan later, we were able to make it through. I never thought I would drive a minivan but I guess with 6 kids there really isnt any other choice. Thank heavens I got to park it back in their garage at the end of the night and not mine. I am really going to try and get my pictures up this weekend. One more thing I have to add is I am so grateful for the internet and blogs. I was looking up old friends and came across so many peoples pages. It is so fun to see everyones families and how everyone has changed. Also, Brad and I get a date night tonight, I hope to catch up with all of you soon.

2007 Went out with a BANG...Literally!!!

Okay, so I am a little late. I always swear I am going to keep on top of this and then I let a week pass by. As I think about 2007, I am so grateful for everything in my life. First and foremost, I am so grateful for my family. I love Brad with all my heart and couldnt be happier with my mate. He is so patient with me and such a great dad. He likes to call me a "heavy swinger" as far as my emotions go and I am so thankful that he sees that in me and makes the best of every situation. If I think about everything he has done for Bostyn, Drew, and I it makes me cry. It is hard to comprehend how someone can be so giving to others. I cant wait for the day that we can be sealed forever in the temple (hopefully in 08). :) I am also so thankful for my parents and all that they do for us. I always felt close to them but even moreso after I had Bostyn. Whenever something is wrong with Bostyn, I always just think, "I will call my mom, she is better than any doctor". She usually knows what to do. Now that I am grown up I appreciate so much more all of my dads hard work. He is always willing to help others and is great at putting himself second to others. I am also grateful for all of my siblings and their families. It has been so much fun having Cash and Bostyn play together this past year. They are so close in age and sometimes bully eachother but I am sure they will be best friends in a few years. It has been fun having McKells kids so close and I will be sad when they move back to Vegas. I think Arlee has been home for almost a year and I am so happy to have my shopping companion back. Sometimes I act like her mom, but it is only b/c I care so much about her and only want the best for her. Lastly, I am so thankful for Brads crazy family. We hardly ever get to see his siblings but his parents are close and are always fun to be around. Sorry, for all of that, I have just been thinking alot about family and how much everyone means to me.
Now, on to 08. My first big hurdle is getting Bostyn potty trained. We have been trying, and havent been so successful. I have tried just about everything from reading to her for a half hour on the potty to telling her if she pees on her princess pull-ups they wont be her friend. I think that I am going to give into Brads suggestion, the sticker chart. I will keep everyone posted on that. Next, Arlee and I have a few business ventures that we have been slowly starting and I would really like to get them up and steadily running here int he first part of 08. I guess we will see how that goes. Next, I am going to try to be a better listener in all aspects of my life. Goodbye 07 and welcome 08. I hope all is well with everyone out there and hope to see you all soon.
